If you want to make a huge impact in the global Amazon Retail business by defining the strategy of a powerful platform that empowers brands to drive e-commerce and work with some of the best engineering teams in the world, this is the job for you. Amazon Vendor Central is an external facing interface where brands or their distributors sign up, add products, manage inventory and promotions leveraging applications that are built in-house. This is the most scalable and innovative extranet for brands, but it is still Day 1 and there is so much to do. This position is part of Amazon's Retail Systems organization, which is responsible for building the technology that powers the multi-billion dollar Retail business.

As a product manager on this core platform you will define the vision for Vendor Central and leading the launch of the next generation. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Defining product requirements for the Vendor Central platform and core applications. Understand what tradeoffs need to be made.
  • Partner with technical teams to create a roadmap and manage their backlog. Be frugal with our resources, but still push to achieve the right results.
  • Drive the implementation of large-scale cross-functional projects, so bring your project management skills and think big.
  • Devise and implement strategies in partnership with the global Retail teams. Every decision has huge implications downstream so we must be right, a lot.
  • Own all business metrics around goals you will define, such as vendor adoption, contact reduction, and increased productivity - all which flow straight to the bottom line. We make decisions based on data.
