Responsibilities

The Sales Planner is a key member of the WebMD sales team and will work closely with Sales Directors, Sales Management, Clients and internal operation teams.

She/he is responsible for the complete lifecycle of Medscape media programs, including inventory checks, reserving/booking inventory, responding to RFP’s, creating/updating IO’s, campaign management, and reporting to our UK based sales team.

Responsibilities include:

- Work in partnership with the Sales team to understand client objectives and needs
- Develop strong understanding of Medscape media products
- Assist Sales team with RFPs
- Plan and reserve media
- Obtain creative/3rd party tags
- Effectively communicate program details to internal operation teams
- Provide ongoing campaign management to ensure revenue is maximized
- Analysis & perform optimizations
- Proper delivery of contracted goals/ program pacing and reporting

Qualifications

- Diligent work ethic with excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and function well under pressure and tight delivery timeframes
- Understanding of third-party advertising tags and reporting
- Proactive, results-oriented with strong customer service skills
- 3+ years’ experience in agency or publisher environment with media planning responsibilities
- BA/BS is required
- Knowledgeable of the latest digital advertising trends and online media
- Proficiency in media analytics and Microsoft excel
- Salesforce, DART, ATLAS, Point Roll, YieldEx experience a plus
