As a senior manager of Audience Marketing, you will be a senior marketer who knows how to use data to tell a story that is relevant and engaging to advertisers and agencies. You will be responsible for working cross-functionally to create best-in-class marketing materials, working as the sales conduit for Research and Analytic marketing needs. You will have a deep familiarity with the digital space and be able to translate data into business insights that sales can easily digest and clearly highlight what an advertiser needs to know. You are familiar with the challenges of big data and understand that all good marketing starts with data. You can weave the AOL audience story with an advertiser's goals as the subtext. You are a storyteller and the story is based on facts; content is one side of the story, audience is the other. You create the thread between the two.

Responsibilities:

Own go-to-market strategy for audience insights

Think big to increase AOL's share in a highly competitive industry

Initiate research studies to position AOL as a thought leader

Collaborate with sales and category teams to keep them abreast of research calendar; inform research calendar with sales needs

Develop marketing materials that defines the AOL audience and its relevance to advertisers

Create advertising solutions and packaging framework from conclusions developed by the Research team

Lead the development, internal alignment and execution of the audience marketing

Develop strategic



Qualifications:


Superior digital marketing experience a must; management experience a plus

Superior business sense, problem solving, project management and analytical skills

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior executive leadership

Proven track record of results, demonstrated accountability for achieving individual and shared goals

Strong visual storytelling ability

Understanding of digital measurement tools and basic understanding of analytics

Minimum of 7 - 10 years of relevant work experience
