Supervises brand development, creative design, and directs and develops final visual image that communicates the organization's objectives for Live Happy magazine, websites, and other collateral. Manages additional freelance and fulltime production and creative staff. Be able to work in a fast pace environment. Be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Responsible for overseeing the aspects of the design/layout for SUCCESS magazine’s look and feel. He/she has to make sure that the photos are appropriate and the artwork is compelling/captivating. He/she is expected to have good working knowledge of (CS6) and an eye for detail.•Developing, in conjunction with SVP, EIC and Client, a brand image for Live Happy•Ensure that brand is applied across live happy•Oversee and participate in the design and layout of each monthly issue of a consumer magazine•Oversee and participate in the design of websites, including the design of individual content elements of the websites to maintain brand image•Working closely with the Editor in chief and SVP as an approval is necessary for layouts/concepts to be approved.•Work closely with the editors as they are the ones who write the articles•Supervise additional creative staff •Review and approve color proofs•Manage the project, from start to completion working within budget and scheduling requirements.•Schedule and oversee photo shoots as needed and within budjet•Work with photo editor to help select best photographyQualifications Required for a Creative Director•A degree from any reputed art school or equivilant work experience •Should have a portfolio complete with all their best work•Min. 7 years as art director or creative director with some editorial preferred.*Salary requirements a must.
