Your tasks
The Media Project Manager fulfills the role of a media specialist in the global Design and Media Services team and works to leverage Springer?s video strategy in marketing.

Participating in the development of all types of design and media projects, this person does all aspects of project management while supporting internal marketing clients and interacting with external agencies and vendors. This includes advising on new trends, innovation and new technologies to grow services in marketing with a strong focus on video and digital media.

In addition, this specialist will also design and perform desktop publishing services for online and print promotion projects according to defined global standards and procedures. This person oversees the online video management platform for marketing and provides analysis and reporting.

Specific responsibilities include:
?Participates in developing multimedia and interactive marketing projects from concept development to realization including but not limited to: videos, event filming, tutorials, and automated videos for branding, training and learning, products and services, and promotion.
?Formulates ideas and briefs external agencies and vendors on high level projects requiring creativity, media services and project management know-how.
?Designs and performs desktop publishing services for print and online promotion projects, including but not limited to: brochures, posters, postcards, catalogs, banner ads, and interactive promotion material, according to defined global standards and procedures.
?Cooperates and communicates with internal clients, Product Marketing colleagues, and collaborates with colleagues in other departments during project development.
?Oversees online video management platform including analysis and reporting.
?Keeps track of industry developments to make the most of trends and emerging technologies and advises on best usage for marketing projects.
?Contributes to sharing and building media and technical knowledge within the global Design and Media Services team.
?Maintains project schedules and controls costs within budget guidelines.
?Handles special projects and performs related duties as needed.

Our requirements
?Bachelor?s degree with minimum of 3 years of job experience, preferably in similar fields.
?Experience in design and digital media. Print production knowledge is a plus.
?Up-to-date in marketing and media trends and innovative developments.
?Strong computer skills for Windows. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Flash is a must. Knowledge of media software is necessary.
?Excellent project management skills, goal oriented, attention to details, and the ability to multitask.
?Well-organized and structured, yet flexible to respond quickly to new requirements and changes.
?Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
?Highly customer and service oriented, team player.
