Digital content coordinator:
Description: Intern to support and enhance many of our key digital products and initiatives and work with the editorial staff members and the online manager. This is an ideal position for an individual who is seeking exposure to the growing number of opportunities developing within the field of Journalism.

Responsibilities:

Specifically, the digital content coordinator will work directly with online manager to help develop strategies impacting digital content and data, as well as the editor and managing editor, on the following areas:

• Update and maintain key Tire Business and Rubber & Plastics News online Data Centers and rankings tools and data stores
• Support the creation and distribution of reader surveys, and participate in the analysis of data collected
• Assist online editors with construction of multimedia, including photo galleries and video and other special online features or projects
• Support online editors in the development of site section fronts and special reports

Requirements:

• One to two years of experience in a professional environment
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Access)
• Some experience working with a content management system
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• The ability to learn quickly and the desire to multi-task
• A passion for the media business
• BA/BS Degree (Journalism or related field preferred)
