Associate Promotion Director, Vogue

The Associate Promotion Director is responsible for creating and executing integrated marketing programs for leading European and American fashion accounts, designed to generate advertising revenue.
Specific duties include: 
  • Write and design custom marketing presentations/proposals that deliver on advertisers’ marketing objectives
  • Collaborate with the sales staff and other Creative Services Departments (digital, events and art departments) to ideate and execute customized programs for advertisers
  • Develop strategic partnerships with third party organizations such as retailers, charities, fashion designers, bloggers, and entertainment properties to create new marketing opportunities for advertisers
  • Attend sales calls to present marketing programs to advertising clients
  • Manage budgets for custom advertiser programs
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in magazine sales/marketing, fashion industry marketing (luxury), partnership development and events (luxury), or marketing/event/pr/partnership development within a cultural institution.
  • Strong project management/leadership skills
  • Strong skill set in writing, editing, conceptualizing, idea creation, organization and communication is essential to excel in this position. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of InDesign a plus.
  • A general knowledge of the promotion production process and an understanding of the editorial product and fashion industry are also highly recommended for this position.
