-A degree in a relevant subject (preferably PR, Communications or Marketing) and at least 3 years' experience in lifestyle or travel PR
-Strong media contacts in TV, print and online media (particularly travel, lifestyle and news media)
-Amazing media pitching and negotiating skills - proven ability to pitch and place stories that are on-message
-Impressive communication skills: an excellent writer with a knack for snappy copy and finding a news hook. A polished speaker who is comfortable delivering presentations and leading meetings. Significant experience writing press releases for different audiences, web content and e-newsletters.
-Proven event management skills - ranging from small, intimate networking events to large-scale, publicity generating events
-Experience working with bloggers and social media influencers and a keen understanding of the US social media scene
-Experience delivering tactical and brand marketing campaigns a real plus
-Excellent knowledge and understanding of UK as a tourism destination; history, culture and geography
-Willingness and flexibility to travel within your market and to Britain several times per year
-Proven budgetary and financial management skills
