The Email Marketing Manager will manage our customer databases in order to increase lifetime value, improve email deliverability and drive conversions. The Email Marketing Manager will be involved in all aspects of our email-marketing channel, from conception to execution and will be accountable for its success and quantifiable results.

Primary Duties Include:

- Deployment of all email marketing campaigns.
- Formulate and execute end-to-end campaign plans to optimize delivery, opens and conversions.
- Manage list segmentation and develop customer segmentation strategies to increase engagement and retention, and to get the right message to the right person at the right time.
- Input, test, and send emails using third-party (ESP) applications and proprietary software.
- Ensure spam regulation compliance (CAN-SPAM).
- Own all metrics, including deliverability, opens, and clicks, and use results to drive future action.
- Work with marketing and technology teams to build requirements for email functionality.
- Manage relationships with our Email Service Providers.
- Stay current with email marketing best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
- Find 3rd party and internal offers that are a good fit for specific segmentations of our email list.


You have 2-3 years experience managing email-based marketing campaigns, including in-depth knowledge of deliverability best practices. You have strong previous email marketing experience, including creating and driving successful campaigns. You have the proven ability to communicate insights and action items driven from data. You have strong analytical and segmentation skills, as well as excellent email copywriting/editing skills.

In addition to demonstrable experience managing multiple projects and working with cross-functional teams, you have managed third-party email service providers. You are creative, highly organized, articulate, flexible, and very hands-on. Your ability to manage email programs from delivery to engagement, including back-end analysis, sets you apart, and you have a strong visual aesthetic, and the creativity to spot opportunities based on data analysis.
