Fandango, the nation's leading moviegoer destination, sells tickets to more than 20,000 screens nationwide. Fandango entertains and informs consumers with reviews, commentary, celebrity interviews and trailers, and offers the ability to quickly select a film, plan where and when to see it, and conveniently buy tickets in advance. At many theaters, fans can print their tickets at home or receive them as a paperless Mobile Ticket on their smartphones.Applicants should have strong leadership skills in both the creative and managerial arenas. Must be able drive creative brainstorming and translate concepts into production deliverables (comps, prototypes, storyboards, Flash, etc.). The Lead Designer must articulate creative concepts in pitch and pre-sales concept sessions to Senior Management and Senior-level business partners. Solid understanding of graphic design, layout, UI, UX and basic design theories are essential. Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree in Fine Arts, Design, Art, or related field. Minimum 5 years' relevant experience. Expertise and proven hands-on Illustrator, Photoshop, and html experience Must be very strong with graphic design and layout, user-interface design, user experience, color theory, typography, and illustration High-level conceptualization skills are necessary with wireframing abilities Must have experience designing for mobile and tablets Must demonstrate the ability to set high creative standards by rising above technical limitations Must be versatile with skills ranging from traditional illustration, design, and print. Must be organized and skilled at meeting deadlines. Passionate about their work, committed to their discipline and its challenges, and a high-level of energy Passionate about the going to the movies. Strong sense of ownership and disciplined approach to quality and its effect on an intended audience Ability to manage multiple projects and resources and set priorities in order to meet deadlines and reach required creative specifications Proactive, strategic critical thinker who also has a high attention to detail and is focused on customer quality Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Team player who understands the value of regular and effective communicatio n and team-based problem solving Able to exercise discretion and keep strictest levels of confidentiality. Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at the companys sole discretion. Must be available and willing to work extended hours (during crunch times!) per day including occasional weekends and holidays.
