Macmillan seeks an Associate Manager to join the Digital Marketing Department in leading the strategic and creative digital marketing efforts for a defined number of titles each season.
The ideal candidate has a passion for books and creative, out of the box thinking using the latest digital communication platforms. Best suited for a person with high energy, the ability to work independently and experience in digital media marketing.

Major Responsibilities:
- Develop social media engagement and content plans
- Engagement campaign development and execution
- Build audience development strategies
- Blog, lifestyle website and portal outreach
- Co-manage CRM strategy and analysis
- Manage online sweepstakes campaigns
- Collaborate on planning and analysis of online advertising campaigns

Required Skills / Knowledge:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and problem solving experience
- Familiarity with and passion for various cutting edge digital and mobile platforms including: blogs, social media sites, Apps, e-books, etc.
- Ability to multi-task
- Proven ability to think creatively
- Excellent computer skills including the MS Office Suite. Experience working on Macs and PC's ideal. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, HTML5 and other web based applications languages a plus.

Experience Needed:
- 3-5 years of digital marketing experience

Educational Background Required:
- Must possess college degree or equivalent work experience
