A pedagogical support specialist with excellent communication and creative teaching skills to train and support instructors who teach with our digital products. The specialist will advise programs on how to utilize digital products to best serve the needs of their courses and to achieve greatest satisfaction with the product.

Major Responsibilities:

• Train and advise instructors on best practices for incorporating our digital products into their courses via phone, Webex, email, and on campus professional development workshops and consults.
• Work with programs over time as they revise their courses based on how our digital products grow and evolve as well as on how their program needs change
• Contribute to digital product adoption implementation scaling efforts, identifying patterns of successful media product usage
• Contribute user feedback to editorial to help develop and improve our digital products to better meet adopters’ pedagogical goals
• Help train sales reps, technical support, regional specialists, and others to facilitate adoption support
• Be aware of the pedagogical and technological trends in the fields we serve by attending conferences, following online discussions, visiting innovative programs, and becoming familiar with the pedagogical literature in those fields.

Required Skills / Knowledge:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write and communicate clearly to an audience with no technical knowledge or expertise
• Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to form productive working relationships with individual instructors, departments, and coworkers
• Strong project management skills, with ability to juggle multiple ongoing projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
• Close attention to detail

Experience Needed:

• Three to five years’ experience teaching college courses
• Experience tutoring or teaching with Web-based and other digital technologies
• Experience with interactive computing environments, classroom and learning space technology/design, and course delivery in technology-based learning environments


Educational Background Required:
• Master Degree Required
