BlackboardEats, the high-end foodie editorial + perk site is seeking a super hard-working Partnerships Manager to meet with Chicago restaurants all over town on a daily basis and sign them up for BlackboardEats.Responsibilities:Pitch, meet and sign top CHI restaurants to work with BBE.Work with restaurants to create exclusive deals and culinary experiences.Reach weekly quotas of signed restaurants.Must cold call with confidence and feel comfortable walking into restaurants and telling our story.Attend food industry dinners and events for networking and representing BlackboardEats.Requirements:Some sales experience, preferably in the food space. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, be an extremely hard worker, and have a self-starter sales personality. Must have a deep knowledge and passion for the CHI restaurant space. Should be an optimistic go-getter attitude and have great persistence and a thick skin. This is not a position for a shy demeanor. It is for the outgoing food and drink professional who lives and breathes the restaurant space in both their professional and spare time.All candidates must be professional self-starters with excellent verbal, writing and organizational skills. The ability to communicate quickly and effectively, are essential.
