Overview/Purpose
The Digital Manager role is responsible for driving Web and App revenue from our top advertising and agency partners in the New York market.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
This individual is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key advertising decision makers as well as:
  • Identify prospects
  • Develop strategic plans
  • Prepare presentations
  • Negotiate rates and schedules
  • Communicate results internally and externally
  • Elevate opportunities and / or challenges to management
  • In person Meetings throughout the market
 
The Digital Manager will maintain and expand the advertising client base across the Corporate and Non-Corporate account lists in a variety of categories such as automotive, beauty, fashion, home furnishings, jewelry/watches, luxury goods, food, retail, travel, and wine and spirits.
 
This individual represents the company at trade shows and industry events to promote business, where appropriate, and completes all forms and processes paperwork for assigned accounts.
 
Requirements:
Qualifying Candidates must have:
-         Effective sales skills
-         Negotiation techniques
-         Superior communication skills
-         Proven ability to plan, develop and implement sales strategies that produce results
-         5+ years experience in media
  • Minimum 1-2 years of outside sales experience
