Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing, is looking for a talented Marketing Manager with a passion for working with customers and cultivating great relationships.In this role you will be instrumental in building a customer reference program that supports worldwide initiatives to recognize customer success with the AWS Cloud. You will act as a centralized resource to research, qualify, secure, and track customer references for customer-to-customer sales calls, marketing campaigns, public relations opportunities, analyst relations, speaker opportunities, and much more. The ideal candidate will expand the customer reference program through the development of a robust customer references database and establishing best practices for capturing and tracking great customer stories. Job Responsibilities.Build and maintain customer relationships to help drive awareness and sales for Amazon Web Services.Implement a customer reference database for identifying and tracking reference opportunities, building customer profiles, and storing published customer success stories.Evangelize the customer reference program internally at AWS as well as externally with customers.Develop new ways to attract and promote customer success stories to build the customer reference pipeline. Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field of study.3-5 years of customer reference program manager experience.3+ years of marketing experience.5-7 years experience in a business-to-business environment (B2B) in the high-tech industry; preferably in cloud computing.Demonstrated success working directly with customers on reference activities including, but to limited to, case studies, speaking engagements, sales calls, analyst relations calls, and media opportunities.Previous experience in sales or customer support is a plus.Social media experience is a plus.Experience with is a plus.
