As a Conference Content Associate in the PR News Group, you will be responsible for assisting with content development and implementation for the brand’s live events (conferences and awards programs) and webinars. This will include working with the Editorial Director/Events in the writing of conference and webinar agendas, speaker Q&As and profiles of award winners; and will include securing speakers for PR News’ live conferences, awards programs and webinars.

You will be responsible for:

•Writing conference and webinar agendas, and other site, brochure and eletter copy as needed to support PR News’ events
•Building long-term relationships and recruiting executives to be speakers at our conferences, boot camps, webinars and awards events
• Identifying industry trends and developing conference agendas in various industries based on market research
• Effectively communicating and providing guidance to marketing, sales and sponsorship departments
• Writing profiles of awards winners for PR News’ site; writing Q&As of speakers for upcoming events
• Conducting calls with conference and webinar speakers to ensure content is on target
• Moderate webinars and live panel discussions as needed

The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision and will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an editorial capacity at a media organization and have some experience securing speakers for events and/or webinars. Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks and meet required deadlines. Candidates who are well versed in marketing and PR trends and issues are highly desired.
