Account Manager, Public Relations
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and implementing public relations and marketing campaigns for University clients. In collaboration with campus partners, account manager creates an integrated strategic communications plan at the beginning of each fiscal year. The ISCP incorporates strategies and tactics aimed at increasing awareness and recognition of the school among prospective students and expanding enrollment. Marketing initiatives might include developing an online and print advertising presence and tracking the results, working with the client and members of the PR&M team on promoting programs via social media, enhancing and updating the client's Web site, developing brochures, coordinating photography or video, newsletters, developing email communication, writing press releases, and promoting special events.Required Qualifications:1. Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of three years experience working as part of a marketing communications team.2. Knowledge of public relations and marketing strategies and tactics. Strong interpersonal communications and organizational ability. Proven writing skills and familiarity with the publications process, experience using social media and photography and video preferred. 3. Ability to introduce various public relations and marketing options, analyze competitors' initiatives and position in the marketplace, and evaluate potential impact of various PR & marketing activities4. A working knowledge of WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT and familiarity with Photoshop and Web analytics preferred. Ability to conduct online research and adapt workflow to web-based resources. 5. Ability to work well with different groups throughout the university.
