Job Description

Position Reports To: Accessories Manager

Basic Function: Handle day to day public relations efforts on behalf of Krupp Group accessories clients. Focus on securing product placement and promoting all clients, working closely with Manager and overseeing Account Coordinator.

Essential duties:
Facilitate and oversee all sample requests on a daily basis
Strategic planning and execution (with direction from Manager)
Creating email blasts on a monthly basis
Compiling press releases
Updating client bios or written material
Pitching product placement and larger feature type pieces across all media (long and short lead print, online and broadcast)
Planning and coordinating creative partnerships/collaborations between clients and other brands
Building and maintaining editor and stylist relationships on the behalf of clients
Provide managerial support to Coordinator
Sample trafficking
Receiving all seasonal collateral from clients
Press Clippings
Credit requests
Monthly status reports
Seasonal trend reports to share with clients
Coordinating seasonal look book mailings and gifting
Work with Manager to conduct seasonal press appointments for each client and create comprehensive recaps following seasonal previews to share with client
Provide clients with a list of needed collateral each season (look books, line sheets, inspiration and quotes from designer, hi res images, etc.) and respective deadlines when we must receive
Prepare meeting and call agendas, attend to take notes, and compile recaps
Assist Manager in the coordination and execution of client events
Communicate daily with editors, stylists and clients on behalf of accessories department
Send through all secured editorial placements to clients in a timely manner
Compile and maintain up-to-date media and mailing lists
Work with Social Media Manager to update relative content accordingly

Desired Skills & Experience

B.A. degree with 2+ years experience in the public relations industry working within Accessories division and Accessories Editors
Outgoing personality and great sense of style to represent our clients
Strong relationships with Editors
Exceptional communication, writing and proofreading skills.
Well versed in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop.
Ability to quickly adapt, and work on multiple projects in condensed timeframes
Organized and able to work with minimal direction.
