NY PR agency seeks AE with at least two years experience, for expanding agency with growing list of clients. Candidates must have strong writing, pitching and placement skills; must be detail-oriented and be able to multitask. Experience in social media/community management preferred. Candidate must live in the Long Island area.

Responsibilities Include: Pitch tech/trade and consumer media, write news releases and media alerts, develop story ideas for mags/write feature articles, monitor client-related media for trend/story opps, track media coverage, coordinate and attend trade show and media events (some travel required).

*Must have a BA in Public Relations/Communications/Journalism
*Must have at least two years experience in PR in an agency setting or related experience in a communications, PR or journalism position.
*Must have strong writing and copy editing skills
*Must be detail-oriented.
*Experience with social media/community management preferred.
