Advertising Director, Vogue
 
Overview
The National Director,  Ad Sales will manage the overall  advertising  business for Vogue and Vogue.com. Candidate will be a seasoned sales leader who will execute an aggressive growth plan to grow  print and  digital business across all platforms.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead  the national sales team, collaborating closely on cross-platform initiatives
  • Proactively manage and ensure success at all stages of the sales cycle, including prospecting
    development, deal and concept ideation, closing business, and servicing
    accounts
  • Support account directors with developing, maintaining, and strengthening
    relationships with key clients and  print and online advertising agencies
  • Deliver a solutions-oriented approach, driven to meet and exceed
    revenue goals
  • Collaborate closely with the editorial team for content alignment to ensure cross-platform program execution and success.
 
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience selling print and online advertising and/or integrated programs
  • 5+ years managing a sales team
  • Strong relationships with print/digital agencies and key client accounts
  • Demonstrable track record of success selling custom solutions and integrated programs
    beyond standard ad units
  • A self-starter who possess high energy and excellent presentation, creative and
    analytical skills
  • A strong leader and positive team presence who possesses a get it done
    mentality and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with superior writing and verbal communication skills
