The role:
The Account Executive is a creative, solutions-oriented leader who partners with advertisers, category and product sales, marketing and operations to leverage the full breadth and scale of the network, suite of products and technologies. The individual will own a regional category/agency level revenue goal and be responsible for selling’s full suite of display solutions to major advertisers and agencies, working alongside our national sales organization, as well as on an individual basis.

• Find solutions-based ways to grow advertising revenue by collaborating with numerous internal constituents (vertical and product sales, marketing and operations)
• Translate client needs into product offerings to package advertising and marketing solutions
• Act as consultant to sales and account management teams on straightforward media proposals
• Consult in sales revenue forecasting and business growth projections and goal setting
• Collaborate with sales to devise client meeting strategy, anticipate and resolve client objections
• Build internal relationships to facilitate cross disciplinary collaboration with key AOL/ constituents, including sales, operations and publisher, and technology teams.
• Act as a brand advocate and vertical expert for in the market with client, agency, and industry partners.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in online media in the network, DSP, exchange or other non-reserved space
• Strong experience in and understanding of digital media and consumer behavior
• Passion for the changing media landscape, self educated on the trends in consumer behaviors and inventive ways to reach a targeted audience
• A proven collaborator with the ability to be an effective internal advocate of client needs/market demand, leading cross functional teams to achieve sales results
• Ability to create and manage strong internal and external relationships
• Ability to think strategically, understanding marketer needs and creatively translating these needs into compelling concepts and programs
• Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus
