Sales Account Executive
Gannett Government Media is seeking an experienced national sales professional to join our Sales Team. Ideal candidate must possess a proven track record of consistent goal achievement and successful business development. Responsibilities include growing account list and securing new business in an assigned territory. This is a high growth, high energy opportunity within the technology sector of defense and government markets.Must be well versed in multi-platform advertising sales including print, digital, broadcast, sponsorship and mobile. Looking for a strategic sales closer who develops and leverages powerful account relationships, is fast acting and fast thinking, able to multi-task and thrive in an entrepreneurial style business environment. Candidate must secure firm knowledge of customer products, markets and needs and create value-oriented packages, proposals and solutions to meet their client's business objectives. Must be self-sufficient, proactive and a team player. Bachelor's degree required, 5+ years sales experience and the ability to travel extensively is also required. Knowledge of Information Technology, Government, Military and Defense markets is highly desired.
