The Role:

For Bloomberg Markets magazine, this individual will provide strategic and day-to-day support of advertising sales by assisting in the development, coordination and execution of marketing plans and tools targeted at generating advertising revenue.

Responsibilities include:

- Conduct ongoing analysis of competitive marketplace and syndicated reader data to increase intelligence and include in advertising proposals and presentations
- Develop strategies and action plans for key market segments
- Create and track innovative cross platform marketing programs and sales materials.
- Create effective sales presentations and proposals in partnership with global sales team
- Create engaging sales materials
- Conduct ongoing analysis of competitive marketplace and syndicated reader data to increase intelligence and include in advertising proposals and presentations
- Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of marketing initiatives directed towards direct generation of incremental advertising in conjunction with Bloomberg Markets' Marketing Director
- Event planning and execution, including advertiser showcases and reader events

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in related media position, preferably in magazine publishing
- Experience in brand marketing, and analyzing and executing market research
- Proven experience in development of cross platform marketing programs.
- Creative and critical thinking, strong project management; ability to think and work independently and to tight deadlines, ability to multi-task in fast paced environment, strong interpersonal and cooperative skills
- Strong Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Apple Keynote skills
- Relevant event experience helpful
