Manager, Vogue Marketing Analytics, Consumer Marketing
Manager is responsible for the following key services / governances for Vogue:
Reports to: Director, Marketing Analytics; Will also provide direct support to Executive Director of Brand Marketing, Vogue.
-         Direct support for Vogue senior management
-         Partner with Vogue project management, product development, consumer marketing, and site editors and publishers
-         Provide Vogue marketing and sales team relevant syndicated & proprietary data and information for marketing materials and presentations
-         Help steward syndicated/analytic applications and their implementation
-         KPI design and collection; data aggregation for digital performance reporting
-         Template development for ongoing needs
-          Online behavioral measurement, reporting, and analysis for Vogue properties
-         This position supports efforts in both marketing and optimizing Vogue’s assets, including print, online, and digital edition.
-         The ideal candidate will serve as an expert on available syndicated and proprietary resources for which Vogue has access, and will be responsible for data management as well as training and education. 
-         He/she will also be responsible for evangelizing the use of online analytics for more insight based business decisions, both strategic and tactical, while serving as the analytic subject matter expert to various levels of Vogue business stakeholders.
-         The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects in a deadline-sensitive environment and become a thought-leader who can make strategic recommendations.

Primary Responsibilities:
o    Collaborate with Vogue business stakeholders to understand  business goals and create performance measurement strategies to empower the business with actionable insights
o    Work with Vogue marketing teams to identify sales and marketing needs and provide most relevant data to tell the story (using syndicated sources such as MRI, comScore, MMR, PIB and/or proprietary datasets such as Omniture)
o    Develop and deliver monthly, weekly, and ad hoc dashboards / reports at both the executive and the channel level to be defined with Vogue
o    Communicate with the senior teams on the measurement and the analytic integration process
o    Ensures Vogue’s measurement needs are met and optimizations are completed to provide the data necessary to guide Vogue’s business decisions
o    Present general site performance to the brand, analytics team and periodically to executives
o    Proactively monitors, identifies and alerts Vogue of issues as they arise – traffic, tracking, site, etc.
o    Collaborate with Vogue’s consumer marketing team to optimize audience development, consumer acquisition testing, and database team develop innovative applications of digital data to improve CRM capabilities
o    Serve as a consultant to senior managers, business managers, content producers, and other stakeholders to provide guidance on online measurements best practices that are parallel with Vogue’s online measurement strategies
o    Evolve into a strategic partner / adjunct member of Vogue business teams
o    Provides analysis of data that becomes actionable and translates into results
o    Educate and train Vogue teams to retrieve and interpret recurring reports, build dashboards, and to perform simple analyses.

o    5+ years of experience with a digital advertising agency or online marketing, advertising, publishing, or retail organization with a thorough understanding of online business models and strategies
o    Experience in analyzing complex customer experience with high trafficked sites containing a mix of content, tools, community, and commerce.
o    Experience with syndicated media research data sources such as MRI, comScore, PIB, Kantar competitive media, etc. 
o    Familiarity with competitive measurement services like comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen/NetRatings, or Hitwise.
o    Experience with a major web analytics tools such as Omniture.
o    Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
o    Advanced user of Microsoft Office products, including Projects, Visio, Access, Excel and others.
o    Ability to clearly articulate measurement strategies and tactics to different stakeholders including technologists, business managers, and vendors
o    Ability to clearly present analyses to all levels of management
o    Preferably some familiarity with multivariate testing tool to optimize marketing and user experience initiatives
o    Preferably some familiarity with database technologies, specifically relational databases, data warehousing, or knowledge of SQL and other database query tools.
o    Able to learn new tools quickly and often independently with minimal formal training
o    Must be proactive, thorough, skeptical, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
