Art Director /Graphic Designer
Education, Skills and Experience Required:•BA Degree or relevant degree from a reputable school of design;•7 years of increasing graphic design responsibility; and at least 2 years of hands-on management experience is required;•Ideally, literate in the non-profit communications arena; familiar with culturally diverse design challenges;•Ability to think creatively -- Develop, design, create new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions;•Must be able to flawlessly communicate design concepts to non-designers and be able to translate design requests into a compelling visual finished product;•Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computer systems (including hardware and software) to sufficient to manage the production of graphic work;•Keen observer and obtainer of information from all relevant sources;•Strong ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems;•Demonstrated knowledge of most up-to-date technologies and how to apply new knowledge to the job;•Proven track record for being a constructive and cooperative team member; •Effective manager of one’s own time and the time of others;•An active learner and a critical thinker and problem solver;•Must have a track record for creating interesting, unusual and unique ideas to address a visual design problem;•Excellent attention to detail, responsiveness, and creative problem solving skills;We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package.
