Job Overview: We're looking for Designers with the creative passion, high standard of design, and proven conceptual and technical ability necessary to successfully extend the NBC Sports brand across a widevariety of promotional materials. The selected candidate will become part of the NBC Sports Marketing team focused on Brand and Advertising efforts for NBC Sports and the NBC Sports Network, and work with a dynamic, fun, and talented creative team on some of the most exciting projects imaginable. Specific properties that the candidate will likely work on include: English Premier League and MLS soccer, F1and IndyCar Racing, NHL, Sunday Night Football, Tour de France, and the Olympics, as well as overall branding for NBC Sports. Job Responsibilities:

* Concept, design, and implementation of campaign work across print, digital, social, broadcast, outdoor, and stunt/guerilla marketing efforts.

* Design and prepare brand relevant key art, usage guidelines, and toolkits for use across all mediums.

* Concept and design logos and assets for new shows, sports properties and various extensions of the NBC Sports Brand Identity.

* Work closely with Associate Creative Director, Art Director, design team, copywriters, producers and marketing to ensure a unified brand look

* Maintain files and archive for efficient release, sharing, and repurposing with particular emphasis onadhering to rights agreements.

* Convert final print design work to press-ready files and coordinate with vendors and the pre-press departments at various national media outlets

* Lead additional freelance designers when necessary. Create Media Kits, Presentation Materials, and corporate communication materials.

* Continually source new outlets for photography.

* 1-3 years minimum design experience

* College degree in design or related field

* Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. (Flash AS2/AS3 and latest HTML are a bonus but not necessary).

* Strong eye for and use of typography as well as photo selection and editing

* Experience with creating files for final use across all print related mediums

* Ability to handle many projects simultaneously and to react flexibly and immediately to changes that may occur in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment

* Ability to work well with a variety of people and departments to orchestrate completion of projects.

* Highly motivated; work well under pressure; goal-oriented, self-motivated and proactive.
