Tire Business (TB) and Rubber & Plastics News (RPN) print publications and respective websites are looking for an energetic and experienced inside sales representative to take ownership of both publications' print and online classified section along with the TB Wholesaler Directory online and the possibility of print and digital revenue for a small territory with growth opportunity.

This position requires excellent communication and project management skills to manage, build and diversify the account base. Additionally, the candidate must be able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously and adhere to multiple deadlines; develop client relationships as well as team relationships. This Inside Sales Associate must be innovative and creative in their approach and thrive in a fast-pace environment that is constantly evolving to fit the changing media landscape.


Ability to identify, cultivate and convert prospects into clients
Maintain and upsell existing accounts
Provide top-notch customer service
Assist in the preparation and design of ads including consulting and upselling clients based on needs
Updating CRM database
Act as liaison between customer, credit and our production departments
Creation of new product ideas to drive increased revenue
Designing & packaging multi-platform campaigns


Minimum of 3 - 5+ years of telemarketing or inside sales experience with a proven track record
Bachelor's Degree
Knowledge of classified sales and/or publishing and the tire and rubber industry a definite plus
Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks with accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Ability to take "ownership" of this department and see the opportunities for expanded growth Energetic and professional phone manner
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Computer proficiency and Internet savvy essential
