- 2-3 years of a media market research background
- Understanding of public media
- High than average aptitude for Microsoft applications - especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong understanding of Nielsen and Arbitron methodology
- Proficient in a variety of syndicated research tools including Scarborough, MRI, Simmons, Nielsen software (NPOWER, Local Custom Toolbox, Arianna), Arbitron software (Analysis, TapScap, XTrends, Smart Plus), Pro-track, Lexis Nexis and Monkey Survey.
- Must be very detail-oriented, extremely organized, strong ability to multi-task
- Analytical and strategic thinker a MUST
- Ability to work independently
- Must maintain a professional manner at all times
- Ability to work on projects that require confidentiality
- Bachelor's degree
