Sales Director

The FP Group seeks an ambitious, entrepreneurial sales leader with the proven ability to translate global trends into innovative, impactful ideas for blue chip clients. This person will play an important role in our fast growing sales team and have the opportunity to impact the business from day one. Successful candidates must have knowledge of a specific vertical such as finance, energy or technology etc. and be able to transform that expertise and relationships into creative, industry- leading solutions for our advertising customers. At Foreign Policy, we not only compete for existing communications budgets but help clients justify new ones that help them reach their strategic goals. Today’s customers demand much more than pages in a magazine or impressions on a web site and successful candidates for this position will understand how to leverage our access and engagement with influential policy makers and decision makers for creative solutions that fully capitalize on FP’s unique editorial strengths.

Qualifications:
•Ability to create, communicate and sell integrated ideas in a way that brings them to life for senior decision makers
•Genuine passion for international relations with interest in travelling globally as required
•Prior advertising or events sales experience an asset but not mandatory
•Familiarity with media environment and emerging digital trends
•Strong academic qualifications; foreign language fluencies and top MBA or Graduate International Relations Degree preferred
