Product Operations Manager
The Product Operations Manager is responsible for the implementation and day-to-day management of the technical, financial, and business functions for the NEJM Group's innovative new eduction products. The Product Operations Manager’s responsibilities include four key categories: facilitating requirements definition; negotiating development plans with internal and external business, editorial and technical teams; financial management; and ensuring that the product and business operations meet objectives for timeliness, quality and conform to defined business requirements.Required Skills Must be able to demonstrate excellent leadership, negotiating & facilitation skills. Must have the communication and interpersonal skills and the confidence to work as a member of a small, highly integrated team whie also acting as a key interface with other departments, vendors, and partners. Proficiency with MS Office Tools (particularly Excel), MS project and Visio. Must be able to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple priorities, and high project volume within a fast-paced deadline oriented environment.Required Experience A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. MBA preferred. A strong working knowledge of methodologies in digital product development, project management, and financial systems is required. A minimum seven years work experience with publishing/educational product experience a plus. Background in program management and/or PMP certification preferred.
