Sales & Marketing Specialist
The Sales and Marketing Specialist for Certification Products is responsible for a broad range of marketing and sales tasks. Working closely with the Product Management team this individual takes the lead in executing the sales and marketing plan. This individual will help to define, implement, and enhance the systems we deploy to target, attract, capture, and convert prospects and to support and retain customers. Duties include the implementation and operations of the marketing automation tool; managing the blog; ongoing testing of direct response marketing campaigns; development and execution of social media, PR, PPC, SEM/SEO and link building; as well as direct marketing and exhibit management. The individual will be responsible for directly interfacing with prospects and customers, achieving assigned sales objectives and supporting customer service as needed. Required Skills Excellent balance of interpersonal and analytic skills required. Demonstrated track record of exceptional performance and consistent professional growth in previous roles. Candidate should possess an entrepreneurial mind set, willingness to work in a fast-paced environment characterized by rapid change and who finds innovative ways to overcome roadblock and get things done. Requirement that this candidate is comfortable in a customer facing role, has strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a deadline oriented environment. Required Experience A Bachelors Degree and at least 5 years proven experience in digital product marketing, business, and analytics within a mobile, web, and digital publishing environment is required. Some sales experience desired. Experience working with e-commerce systems is ideal.
