Automotive News is a multi-platform media brand delivering automotive news and intelligence to the automotive industry. As our digital platforms become more robust and multidimensional, we need a dedicated professional to work with us to create best practices and an excellent user experience for our internal team members and external partners.

The Online Advertising Specialist tracks all online inventories and traffics multiple online creative assets for internal and external partners. The Online Advertising Specialist works across all departments to streamline information flow, reports and ad serving processes.

· Manage and communicate online inventory availabilities on a daily/weekly basis

· Maintain online inventory report for multiple digital products

· Campaign set up (traffic) of all online campaigns (both house and external partner campaigns)

· Work closely with sales, marketing and editorial to ensure all advertising and digital assets are tagged correctly for execution

· Proactively monitor campaign delivery and optimize as needed to make impression guarantees

· Liaison between client and sales person to handle timely campaign delivery

· Pull assets from FTP site and ensure accurate campaign flighting

· Run post campaign reports and send to clients directly once complete

· Continually deliver proactive recommendations for better and more effective delivery

· Drive process enhancements to build best-in-class ad operations workflow

· Assist with sales proposals and presentations

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ad operations management working with online ad sales, preferably with a top Internet destination side, ad network provider or advertising agency

· Must have experience with advertising management systems such as Salesforce, DART/Doubleclick, Atlas Admanager, or Atex Advertising

· Comprehensive understanding of media planning, campaign management and advertising performance metrics

· Proficient with MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint

· Requires strong communication, detail, multi-tasking and problem solving skills

· Demonstrated ability to learn computer-based tools and to execute with very little or no direction

· Working knowledge of Flash, Rich Media, Video Encoding, HTML, DHTML, Javascript

· Experience trafficking multiple online campaigns under tight deadlines

· Must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented, meet deadlines, have professional demeanor and previous experience with customer contact required

· Proven customer service experience with excellent telephone and email skills

· Outgoing and assertive personality; ability to work with people of all levels and authority

· A vast knowledge of different creative types and how to upload and troubleshoot flash and third party tags

· Team player with collaborative spirit

· Comprehensive understanding of campaign success metrics: CPM, CPC, Conversions

· Ability to understand and articulate asset problems to internal and external partners
