We are seeking a CRM Analyst to join our Boston Strategic Analytics team.Mullen's Strategic Analytics group applies analytic rigor, data-driven and fact-based reasoning to guide the development and execution of advertising and marketing strategies for clients. Specifically, we adopt statistical modeling methodologies, performance insight techniques and optimization approaches to maximize the ROI of marketing and advertising across offline and digital channels. We seek entrepreneurial individuals with a background in business and marketing performance analysis and a passion for translating data into actionable insight. The CRM Analyst is responsible for conducting basic customer marketing research, market/audience segmentation, analysis, reporting, and synthesizing insights to provide optimization recommendations across several client engagements to enable the creation and execution of actions that drive increased revenues and margins for select clients. Activities include analyzing customer data; creating KPI's, dashboards, and reports; conducting quantitative customer research; and performing other adhoc analysis as needed that create actionable insights. This role will also be exposed to consumer insights ,brand equity analytics, market/audience segmentation, digital display advertising search marketing, social media and site analytics.Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Marketing Strategy:-Work efficiently with clients and analytics partners to define, extract and synthesize available data to create marketing strategies and campaign designs, and share results and insights with Mullen team members. - Use advanced database analytics to track consumer behavior and engagement and develop segmented communication strategies to maximize annual spend, retention and loyalty.-Collaborate and partner with other agency departments- Media, Brand Planning, PR/Social Influence, Creative, and User Experience- in the pursuit of data-driven insights and strategies.Marketing campaign support:-Recommend and execute segmentation and promotional strategies based on data.-Leverage predictive models to support proactive "what-if" analysis and execute statistically valid promotional, creative, and circulation tests.-Collect and analyze customer and marketing campaign data, generating insights which improve the customer experience and generate revenue.Strategic Marketing Analysis:-Analyze and interpret information from multiple data sources to determine business impacts and identify actionable insights.-Assist with execution analysis of customer data for trends, patterns, and causal analysis to assist in understanding customer activity and marketing activity effectiveness. Conduct other ad hoc analysis and tests as required for CRM or broader marketing department. Reporting:-Package and present analytical findings and clearly communicate (both written and verbal) campaign results and complex concepts to general marketing and business audiences in a simple and concise format. -Collaborate with internal and client partners to design best-in-class campaign results reporting and drive actionable insights.

Four-year degree required-A master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Marketing or other quantitative discipline.-Must have 3-5 years of work experience in a professional services environment; consulting, advertising or internal client teams- Must have 1-3 years of advanced statistical analysis in a marketing/advertising environment, including but not limited to CRM strategy, cluster analysis, media mix modeling and optimization, predictive analytics, and experimental design-Familiarity with statistical modeling, direct/digital marketing test designs, and audience segmentation, and mail campaign design-Experienced in ConsumerPoint or other similar segmentation tools-Fluent in using Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis and charting-Critical thinking- capable of generating consistently accurate, useful reports as well as enthusiasm for translating data into actionable insight relevant to marketing program objectives-Attention to detail and time management to deliver high quality work for multiple projects across several client engagements while meeting deadlines-Balances desire for quantitative rigor with realities of inconsistent business data-Experienced in D2C marketing strategy & practicesMullen is an eoe encouraging diversity in the workplace
