Cambridge University Press, a leader in ESL publishing, seeks an Operations Administrative Assistant for our busy and dynamic production department. This position is responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks supporting the production and project management of ESL product, from manuscript to final files.

Requirements include experience from internship(s) or 6 months’ office work, managing a variety of administrative tasks including but not limited to compiling reports, archiving assets, administering contracts, maintaining records, scheduling meetings, and taking meeting minutes. A qualified applicant must have the ability to learn and use the department’s internal databases and systems, and have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office. Knowledge or coursework in book production is a plus, as is knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Professional, SAP, and Creative Suite. The qualified applicant will be well-organized, self-motivated, have strong written and verbal skills, can communicate effectively with a wide variety of contacts, can work independently and on tight deadlines, be flexible, and have the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
