+ Write daily issues of FierceRetail utilizing a mix of analysis, aggregation, and breaking news
+ Contribute daily content to StorefrontBacktalk that is aggregated into a weekly email newsletter
+ Write special features and articles for the publication and Web site, following an editorial calendar you help develop
+ Conduct 8+ media briefings per month with key players in the industry
+ Program and moderate editorial webinars; moderate custom webinars
+ Attend NRF and other industry events as the public face of FierceRetail to cover news from the show, take briefings, and moderate panels and events
+ Develop content for eBooks, special reports, and other advanced products as needed.

+ 3-5 years editorial experience in the retail industry required
+ Technical knowledge of network technologies as well as the ability to understand the business implications of those technologies required
+ Must be able to work independently to achieve deadlines
+ Positive attitude, outgoing personality, “Fierce” work ethic
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Track record of achieving results
+ Internet-journalism savvy and experience
