We are seeking a Photo editor in our Global Education Group based in our corporate headquarters on the Hoboken waterfront, two blocks from the train station. In this role, you will assist in determining the style and direction of the photo program for all disciplines of textbooks that Wiley publishes. Maintaining schedules, monitoring budgets, negotiating and clearing permissions are all part of this key role.We are looking for an individual who thrives in an environment that is both collaborative and complex and who is well motivated to build relationships and get things done. Attention to detail is crucial but in this instance flexible, quick thinking on one’s feet and an ability and interest in understanding the “Big Picture” is important. We believe that understanding the interests, motivations and difficulties of all team members on a project is a highly valuable talent.The successful candidate will have 3-5 years previous experience in developing photo specs, photo editing and interacting with authors.
