Manager Information Sales
Kantar Media SRDS is currently looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and achievement-driven professional to join our Sales Team as Manager Information Sales. This position will be located in our corporate office located in Des Plaines, IL (close to Rosemont and O'Hare).The Manager of Information Sales is responsible for managing and growing the information subscription sales division at Kantar Media/SRDS. This position will report to the VP Sales. Responsibilities include:*Manage and lead sales team through coaching and goal setting*Examine existing sales process in an effort to yield optimal results*Work with Marketing Communications on lead gen *Work with Client Services/Sales Operations on monetizing usage analytics*Analyze existing market segments (ad agency, marketer, library, and media) and identify new growth opportunities within those markets as well as ways to increase renewal rates*Evaluate existing offerings and identify new packages that best meet current market demands*Develop and implement a strategy to proactively pursue custom data file opportunities Requirements *5+ years of sales management (preferably inside sales teams)*Successful examples of managing new business development and retention strategies (preferably with online subscription offering) *Expertise in database sales a plus*Consultative selling skills and strong prospecting skills a must*Self-starter with the ability to generate sales from company provided leads or self-generated leads*Excellent written/verbal communication skills are required*Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce*Must be proficient with new media and technology*SRDS product knowledge and previous experience in the media and advertising industry a plusWe offer an excellent benefits package, a casual working environment, and the chance to work in an exciting industry.Please include salary history/requirements in order to be considered.
