Executive Beauty Director, Glamour


The Executive Beauty Director will report to the Ad Director and is responsible for all sales in the Beauty category -- print, digital and web.

Primary Responsibilities


-         Developing ad strategies and ad revenue projections

-         Managing/mentoring a sales/sales support team  

-         Creating integrated/multimedia programs with the management team

-         Working with production and creative services team to develop site initiatives/programs that will advance our sales efforts

-         Developing a thorough understanding of the website and work with the Associate Publisher to create sales guidelines

-         Managing a large beauty list 


The preferred candidate will have 7-10 years of advertising sales experience.  Candidate must be able to brainstorm creative ideas and solutions for both digital and integrated media programs and should have an understanding of inventory management. The individual should be analytical, being able to accurately forecast revenue.  An individual with strong contacts in the beauty community is a must.
