TV Production Designer
The Role:Bloomberg Television is seeking a Television Production Designer/Vizrt Designer who will be responsible for contributing to the editorial vision, taking that vision and creating the design, production, execution and delivery of still and animated graphics as well as graphic elements for daily on-air and long-form assignments. The TV Production Designer/Vizrt Designer will write Visual Basic programming, and use Vizrt template design and creation to design and deliver these elements under high intensity, short deadline pressure and exercise editorial judgment in working with producers. This position requires complete scheduling flexibility as we are live 20 hours a day, 6 days a week.Qualifications:- Minimum of 3 years of recent and relevant experience in graphic design/production for live television- Ability to produce entire news story packages across multiple media platforms- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator- Proficiency in AfterEffects Vizrt 3.3 helpful- Proficiency in Visual Basic programming, Vizrt template design and creation helpful- Availability for all shiftsThe Company:Bloomberg, the global business and financial information and news leader, gives influential decision makers a critical edge by connecting them to a dynamic network of information, people and ideas.
