AdEase, a well-established, fast-paced and growing agency, is seeking a talented Art Director to join our team.

The Art Director (AD) is responsible for creative input and idea-generation, brand management, concept and design for agency clients. The Art Director works with the account executives, copywriters and other members of the creative team on all creative projects. The AD is involved in the overall direction of the agency’s creative output, including but not limited to design, digital, copy, broadcast production, and vendor/contractor services. He or she works closely with members of the art/design team as well reporting directly to the Creative Director.

· Assist in directing the creative product at the agency and strive for excellence in everything from concept to completion.
· Develop and create smart, strategic, conceptual ideas across all platforms including brand identity, print, broadcast and digital.
· Formulate and assist Account Services and the client with brand development, marketing strategies and monitor the effectiveness of campaigns.
· Work closely with Account Services to solve marketing problems through smart, well-designed advertising and collateral materials that help sell product, and maintain a good image for clients and the agency.
· Art direct photography sessions, film, video, etc., and continuously seek new ideas, vendors and creative talent.
· Hire and work with outside vendors such as photographers, printers and production teams.
· Remain abreast of trends, clients' products, business culture and competition to continually expand knowledge and understanding of the advertising industry and individual clients’ needs.

Experience and Skills:
· BA in Advertising Art, Commercial Art, Graphic Design, Production Design or related field
· 5-8 years design experience in an agency working with major client accounts
· Attention to detail, accuracy, and proficiency in all areas of layout and design, pre-press functions and editing of pre-printed materials (ads, brochures, direct mail, stationary); broadcast experience and web site design is highly desired.
· Superior communication and presentation skills for both internal and external interactions
· Capable staff supervisory experience, team building, mentoring and performance management skills
· Excellent organizational skills
· Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines,on all assignments big, small, and below current experience level at certain times.
· Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and Fireworks, Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Outlook and Social Media
