The Media Planner is responsible for aiding in the development of the strategic direction and executing the tactical elements for all media for their specific markets while assisting management with overall brand strategy and new business as needed.

*Day to day plan development of assigned markets
*Evaluate composition of a wide range of media vehicles to develop recommended tactics to reach the target audience
*Work closely with Supervisor(s) and Associate Media Director, coordinating purchase fulfillment with the buying team to ensure all media recommendations are within budget and fiscally responsible
*Proactively identify client needs and lead research and development of effective ways to implement these needs
*Coordinate with clients and buying team to secure retail-driving added value
*Provide POV/evaluations on sponsorship opportunities, vendor proposals and new media vehicles
*Mentor/train Junior Media Planner(s) on the account, the industry and professionalism
*Collaborate with Account Management, Creative and Account Planning to provide integrated campaigns for the client

*BA/BS in Advertising, Marketing or related field required
*3+ years of media planning experience in an agency
*Experience in Total Market Media planning across all ethnicities is a plus
