Responsibilities:
•Partner with Senior Marketing Manager to create, execute and maintain a social media strategy to grow and engage the customer fan base through innovative strategic social media campaigns and elevated imagery & messaging
•Identify opportunities to integrate social media campaigns with other marketing programs, including, but not limited to events, marketing tools, merchandising initiatives, retailer marketing programs, press outreach
•Partner with DTC team to integrate their objectives with the World of Lafayette marketing initiatives
•Increase exposure and elevate branding of Lafayette on major retailer websites by partnering with their digital marketing teams and their online marketing campaigns. Including, but not limited to, look books, online advertising, brand boutique updates, and image requests.
•Collaborate with PR to develop and maintain relationships with bloggers, editors and other industry influencers
•Further capitalize on opportunities with emerging platforms (Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr and video) and trends to further strengthen brand
•Work closely with all departments, especially design & merchandising, to obtain relevant social media content to drive responses and engagement
•Develop and manage a social media calendar
•Assist in building awareness of the company’s charitable partnerships
•Prepare reports summarizing the results of social media campaigns, including follower/fan statistics, conversations about our company’s brand, competitive metrics, etc and provide insight on how to capitalize on the brand’s strength and opportunities within the marketplace
•Conduct research and analysis on social media networks
•Stay abreast of emerging trends in social media space, metrics, developing technologies, pulse of industry, competitor’s social/digital activities. Provide monthly reports with recommendations on how to leverage these results to the marketing team.
•Educate all departments on the company’s social media policy and protocol
•Actively research new ways to drive traffic to Lafayette148.com through social media and other digital platforms
•Perform additional web and marketing projects as needed


Qualifications:
•3+ years experience in social media marketing (fashion industry experience a plus)
•Four year degree preferably in marketing, journalism or social media
•Attention to detail
•Experience with creating, producing, monitoring and editing content on social media networks
• Team player and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
•Must be able to interact across departmental divisions and integrate/collaborate with them
•Must be analytical and have strong Excel skills
•Must be creative, self-motivated and be able to work independently
•Flexible with an entrepreneurial drive and ability to act independently
