Digital Account Planning Manager
American Media, Inc. is seeking a Digital Account Planning Manager. This is a great opportunity to join a driven team in a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. The Digital Account Planning Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day communications between clients and internal resources and for managing and monitoring their advertising campaigns.Responsibilities:•Understand Inventory and all ad products available on their site(s)oAdunits, impressions available, pre-roll, mobile, rich media, custom content, skins, etc.oServe as gatekeepers of available inventory and rates•Respond to RFIs and RFPsoFill out spreadsheets on our digital ad offerings for major agencies and brands o Answer questions about ad capabilities (technical specs, tracking, survey availability, value-add options, email opportunities, etc.)oRespond to RFPs which often have less than 24 hour turnaround times and include detailed media plans specifying every place on a site an ad runs, how many impressions allotted, and all promised targeting (time, geography, content, etc.)oVerify inventory available (Ad Ops can provide based on traffic projections and what we’ve already sold) and adjust where there are shortfallso Work with Marketing to create visuals for proposals especially for the custom programsoWork with print counterparts on integrated campaignsoWork with production to price any custom creative productionoWork with Editorial to verify any custom content or social media in proposaloWork through several revisions with counterparts at agencies •IOsoMake sure we have a signed IO for any campaign; update IOs for any changesoEnter sold proposals into Operative (our IO system).•CampaignsoWork with Ad Ops and editorial to make sure campaigns launch as expectedoCommunicate the launch of campaigns to clients/agencies with screenshots, etc.oReview campaigns with Ad Ops and adjust to address performance or delivery•CreativeoWork with Editorial to schedule any promised social media or contentoWork with design team and client agency to produce creative assets for custom productionoAcquire digital creative, links and tracking for campaigns from agencies by deadlineoAnswer questions about specs and verify creative provided by agenciesQualifications:•Must be detail-oriented, analytical and ability to work in a fast-paced environment•Communicate effectively and understand client needs•3+ years of relevant experience and a through understanding of the digital advertising space•Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel•Experience with Operative or DFP preferredPlease send resume with cover letter and salary requirements when responding to this job post.
