Modern Healthcare is looking for a Custom Content Writer/Producer that will be expected to lead custom content related business initiatives for Modern Healthcare from inception/creation to delivery. Position requires excellent communication and project management skills. Additionally, the candidate must be able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously and adhere to multiple deadlines; develop client relationships as well as team relationships. This Custom Content Writer/Producer must be innovative and creative in their approach and thrive in a fast-pace environment that is constantly evolving to fit the changing media landscape.

Responsibilities:
•Write, edit and proofread materials including whitepapers, thought leadership articles, case studies, web copy, blog postings, social media content and other communications on behalf of Modern Healthcare clients
•Identify, develop and execute thought leadership strategies and tactics on behalf of Modern Healthcare clients
•Conduct market research and competitive analysis
•Demonstrate knowledge and effectively utilize social media tactics
•Strong presentation skills including the ability to moderate webinars and serve as on-camera expert/talent
•Understanding of tracking and reporting of client related success metrics including leads generated, web traffic, content sharing, registrations, etc.
•Provide client service administration support; attend meetings and assist with other project management
•Participate in new business process including research and proposal preparation in partnership with Modern Healthcare Account Executives

•Minimum of 2 - 5 years of content development experience
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related concentration)
•Knowledge of the healthcare and/or publishing industry. Agency experience, a plus.
•Strong understanding of the print and digital ecosystem (e.g. social, mobile, ad tech and video)
•Organized, detail-oriented multi-tasker who thrives in fast paced environment and has the ability to meet to meet deadlines and work independently as well as with a team to service a variety of clients
•Ability to travel to develop content and/or meet with clients
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office
•Must have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude and be dedicated to consistently providing quality work
