Crain Communications is a multi-platform media company. We currently have a need for a dedicated Customer Relationship Marketing Manager to create best in class customer relationship marketing programs. Marketing mediums include direct mail, email, social and online.

· Develop audience development goals and strategic plan to acquire and retain paid subscribers
· Collaborate with marketing staff to broaden depth of audience development strategy and tactics to include all mediums
· Link strategic business and marketing needs to CRM capabilities, analytics and tools
· Ensure usage of CRM platform (Business Intelligence Database) to inform and define audience development campaigns that meet or exceed revenue targets
· Coordinate and manage all audience development campaigns from welcome to renewals, prospecting, cover wraps/sub cards and win back
· Coordinate and manage all marketing mediums including direct mail, email, social and online
· Oversee coordinator in managing press runs and label splits weekly
· Develop and manage data appends
· Manage customer service calls and email to maintain superior customer service standards
· Ensure sharing of best practices and competitive intelligence
· Manage monthly invoices; verify spending to meet or exceed budget expectations and post financials to finance monthly. Assist with yearly budgeting process
· Attend trade shows and industry events as needed
· Manage publication audit statement 2x per year
· Manage single copy orders for special issues as needed
· Support and grow new business opportunities (IE corporate licensing)

Desired Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field
· Must have 3 to 5 years of CRM experience with knowledge of database marketing including audience segmentation and prospecting
· Comprehensive understanding of CRM campaign performance metrics
· Database marketing with working knowledge of relational databases
· Strong project management, communication and organizational skills
· Ability to work in cross-team environment
