American Media Inc. is seeking a Yield Optimization Specialist to join the Digital AdOps team. This is a great opportunity to join a driven team in a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. Yield Optimization Specialist is responsible for partnering with sales, digital management and ad operations to maximize revenue generated by our digital properties. This position requires excellent understanding and strong experience with ad technology, data analysis and a general understanding of the entire ad industry ecosystem. This individual should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities while still managing to pay close attention to detail. It is a challenging role, but one with a great deal of opportunity.

Key responsibilities include:
•Execute and oversee day-to-day yield management of all our indirectly sold inventory, including exchanges, networks, RTB and data monetization partners
•Identify areas for revenue growth potential and new monetization strategies
•Oversee inventory management and forecasting, pricing, and yield optimization to maximize revenue
•Manage all network partner relationships -- identify partners, negotiate and sign deals, set up and deploy tests, optimize, and operationalize
•Serve as a subject matter expert on all aspects of the campaign processes, RTB, exchanges, ad networks, and campaign management
•Deploy and optimize indirect campaigns in ad server (DFP) and SSPs
•Manage block lists and all channel sales conflicts
•Evaluate profitability of direct, bulk and indirect advertising deals and business partnerships
•Recommend, refine and develop new reporting for yield management and ad operations
•Partner with and act as backup for inventory management, including inventory and availability reporting, and other activities related to ad operations
•Forecast inventory availability, sell-through, employing statistical analysis and modeling when needed
•Contribute to ad tech development efforts including tagging and infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidate will possess:
•Significant experience monetizing indirect revenue for a media company
•Strong experience with Ad serving technology, DFP experience preferred
•Analytics experience directly old, indirect, remnant and performance advertising
•Strong ability to identify problems and creatively seek solutions -- including working with multiple departments (sales, technology, finance)
•Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot tables, etc.) and other data analysis tools
