Gannett is in search of an experienced management professional with over ten years experience in developing sales strategies, identifying and implementing sales incentive and performance initiatives across numerous industries. Strong analytical and communication skills coupled with a proven leadership style that motivates team members at all levels is required. The position is based in Tyson's Corner, Virginia.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive, multiple product strategy, and train future team members on this process
Develop metrics and keep management abreast of MTD & YTD success; provide insight, analysis and strategic recommendations based off these metrics and reports
Interface withal business units and departments, including Sales, Client Services, Technology, Finance, Strategy, and Legal
Identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities between Gannett sales teams and creating channels for these opportunities to grow
Conduct business-level verification and market testing of new features

Required Skills:

10+ years of Account Management or Sales experience, including in a management position
Familiarity with and/or a desire to learn about all of Gannett’s products
Ability to work closely with members of Gannett’s Senior Management and Sales Management teams
Experience driving cross sell for a media business / digital company is a significant advantage
Experience with web analytics, A/B testing, and Multivariate Testing
Focused, metrics driven, no barriers, entrepreneurial, startup attitude
Ability to manage cross-functional teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relentless passion for customer experience
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong technical aptitude
Bachelor's degree (advanced degree a plus)
