The Role:

This position of Radio Sales Account Executive for Bloomberg Radio is for a candidate who will be responsible for managing an existing client base, but also responsible for continuous development of new business accounts for Bloomberg Radio. The candidate will do so predominantly at the client, but also with major agencies. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the sales process. This includes, prospecting, cold calling, pitching and setting follow up appointments with senior level marketing executives of major businesses and financial institutions. This person will be expected to provide weekly updates/status reports on his/her progress. We are looking for a "self-starter" with superb execution and time management skills.

Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and grow a list of existing of core Bloomberg Radio accounts
- Key are of focus is new business development
- Continuous prospecting, cold calling and setting meetings with senior marketing executives at the client level
- Ability to work with agencies particularly planning and account teams
- Providing weekly updates on the number of prospects, new business meetings and pending sales
- Be responsible for all follow up with his/her current and prospective client base both before and after the sale occurs

- 5+ years of recent and relevant media sales experience, ideally with a radio background
- Strong track record of new business development
- Successful track record & experience working directly with senior marketing executives at the client level, and preferably major ad agencies as well
- Strong computer skills are necessary, particularly proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel & Salesforce.
