Position Description: We are seeking an editor to lead development of projects tied to critical new coverage areas for The Wall Street Journal and DJX. This person will work with our global news staff to conceive and implement features that are integral to the success of new, multimedia ways to serve professional and institutional readers, as well as readers of the Journal and WSJ.com. This experienced journalist must have entrepreneurial instincts and a passion to leverage technologies to clearly tell stories and convey information. This editor will coordinate closely with technology and other colleagues outside of the newsroom. This position will be based in New York.



Position Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced journalist who has worked as a reporter and editor. Candidates must be comfortable working with real-time, spot news as well as enterprise reporting. Candidates must be well versed in multimedia and interactive technology and must be comfortable and effective working with colleagues outside the newsroom.
