Your tasks
The Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group is seeking an Advertising & Promotion Designer to support the Doubleday marketing team.

This position is responsible for both online and offline ad/promo design, with the majority of the designer?s time being dedicated to creating online banner ads, online promotional pieces such as infographics and other assets for social media sharing, e-vites, e-cards, etc. Offline projects include print advertising and poster blow-ups for in-store display.

Our requirements
A bachelor?s degree in graphic design and at least one year of design experience in a corporate setting are required. Candidates must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 6 (Photoshop, InDesign, Flash), Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint), and have some basic coding skills (HTML, JavaScript). Pre-press production skills are also important for preparing national print advertising for publication. Knowledge of AfterEffects and FinalCutPro 7 for creating book trailers is beneficial. Additionally, the ideal candidate is a team player who is willing to pitch-in and support colleagues in a variety of projects. Candidates should also be resourceful, self-starters, and problem-solvers with the ability to work independently and require minimal supervision.
